Whitewater Unified School District – Multiple Buildings
Design to improve security, ADA compliances + learning environments throughout the District
EUA’s team of education planners and designers led the Whitewater Unified School District through a facilities assessment and master planning process prior to a successful referendum in 2016. The master plan featured capital improvements, infrastructure upgrades and ADA compliance across 5 different buildings.
Upgrades to each of the schools included the creation of secure entrance sequences, MEP upgrades, ADA compliant restrooms and the overall modernization of the District buildings. At three of the five schools, site circulation and parking issues were addressed to create efficient drop-off and pick-up flows. Additional projects included the renovation of the middle school’s fine arts space to create an improved music and art program, a new gym addition at Lincoln Elementary, a fitness addition at the high school and the creation of modern learning environments at four libraries within the District.
