Design additional secure test stands to sustain company growth
In the heart of "Aerospace Alley," Ursa Major Technologies has been experiencing exponential growth. EUA was hired to design Test Stand C their newest enclosed rocket engine test stand. Navigating a project unlike any other in Colorado, the design team collaborated with Ursa Major Technologies and the department of buildings and fire to form a positive relationship, establish trust and ensure security.
This project required the development of a vegetation plan to calculate the distance and height necessary for plants to survive. It was also essential to develop the site at a safe distance from a high-end neighborhood to ensure welfare and sound protection. This included developing a hazardous waste management plan and designing blast panels to catch shrapnel.
