University of St. Thomas
Create a facilities renewal program that informs the implementation of the strategic plan
The University of St. Thomas campus consists of over three million square feet of space in over 60 buildings, ranging in age from 1894 to 2014. EUA completed a Corrective Maintenance Plan to inform the University’s Facilities Renewal Program. After evaluating the existing condition of every building by its components through a visual inspection and interviews with University staff, campus buildings and their systems are prioritized into a plan to be implemented in phases over several years.
EUA’s online CM Program® provides the University with the ability to monitor progress and make changes as necessary throughout the implementation of the plan as well as inform other capital project improvements on campus.
The tool compares the condition of each building, system by system, by rating each building system which ultimately yields a prioritized plan that can be viewed by system, by building or a hybrid of both.
