Sierra Nevada Corporation – Murphy Facility
Design clean manufacturing in existing warehouse space
Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) hired EUA to design a new manufacturing space, including ISO 7 + 8 class cleanrooms with additional office support space in an existing warehouse / office building. The primary objective was to create a flexible work environment and cleanroom space to support SNC’s need for clean manufacturing. The manufacturing area included shipping and receiving, bonded storage and dirty manufacturing rooms.
The project also included renovating existing office space to modernize amenities and bring it up to code. The renovation brought challenges with the existing building construction that the design team were able to overcome working closely with the contractor.
