Enriched shared amenities enhance the lives of all visitors
Waukesha Memorial Hospital (WMH) recognized the need for a main focus at their entry, allowing them to welcome patients and families. WMH wanted to create a gathering space to encourage community and support healthy food choices.
In the bright and airy updated multi-story lobby space, EUA designed a new food servery and dining room (725 Grille), gift shop and specialty pharmacy near the main entry for quick identification and easy accessibility. These new spaces wrap around a private outdoor courtyard offering scenic views and seasonal use. The new design allowed for patient drop-offs that led directly to greeters who help guide guests and patients to their destination. In addition, a family resource area is available for self-directed or assisted education and research.
EUA also completed a hyperbaric chamber treatment center and the Acuity Adaptable inpatient wing.
