Prairie Ridge Health
Upgrading facilities to continue to be the provider of choice in their area
As an independent system, Prairie Ridge Health (PRH) continues to position themselves for growth by expanding and upgrading their facilities in order to best serve their community. EUA worked with PRH to develop a multi-phased master plan to guide the growth and location of services for the hospital campus.
A new three-story Medical Office Building (MOB) was designed to replace an existing single-story wood-framed clinic located between the hospital and a two story MOB. The new MOB will house the growing family medicine clinic and expanded Physical Therapy/Rehab services. Existing hospital space is converted to a new servery, which showcases the food created by their culinary service group. The pharmacy was relocated and upgraded to comply with USP 800 requirements. A new education center that features training, conference / meeting and board rooms are outfitted with new technologies to better support and connect their teams.
Natural daylight pours into the building and wayfinding was improved throughout. Exterior views in the rehabilitation gym and new dining areas enhance the patient experience and contribute to well-being.
