Middleton Cross Plains Area School District – Multiple Buildings
Develop a facilities master plan that meets growing enrollment needs + positions the district to deliver innovative programming
Facing record enrollment growth, Middleton Cross Plains Area School District (MCPASD) hired EUA to perform capacity and utilization analysis, develop long-term facilities options and create a master plan for a referendum. EUA worked closely with internal and external stakeholders, including MCPASD community-based Facilities Planning Committee, to develop comprehensive and phased master planning facilities options that meet the district’s projected long-term enrollment growth. In addition to addressing capacity concerns, EUA is helping MCPASD transform its schools into future-ready learning environments that better support the District’s goal of delivering inclusive, innovative and inspiriting academic and extracurricular programming.
Resulting from the referendum, the new Pope Farm Elementary School is designed to blend into the site’s natural surroundings and offer a modern learning environment for students and teachers. In addition, EUA designed a renovation and expansion of Middleton High School and a number of district-wide improvements and additions at other schools.
