Create a state-of-the-art facility for their first U.S. headquarters
Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, The Little Potato Company (LPC), a family owned business, wanted to find a location for their first U.S. headquarters. EUA assisted LPC in that effort by test-fitting various sites in the Madison area. They arrived at a site in DeForest based on its proximity to the central sands region of Wisconsin, an area known for potato production. The site also has proximity to transportation routes and to the food and beverage industry talent pool within the City of Madison.
The facility includes a state-of-the-art potato-packing operation as well as quality control lab. The office includes a work café, board room with technology that supports frequent communications between their Canadian offices and United States offices, quality control department, training room and general support offices. The private offices are situated internally with perimeter work stations, allowing for maximum daylight access by all employees within the workplace environment.
