Learning without boundaries and fostering collaboration through flexible and modern environments
EUA led the Kettle Moraine School District through a strategic process that included a comprehensive facilities assessment of eight buildings and master planning. Their $49.6 million referendum addressed needs in the District’s six schools in four key areas, including: capital maintenance, technology infrastructure, safety/security and renovation of learning spaces.
Learning spaces at each school were renovated to create flexible and modern environments that enhance student collaboration and align with the District’s vision of Learning Without Boundaries. EUA worked with the teachers and District staff to determine how classrooms would be used for various curriculums. Sliding glass doors between classrooms and open floor plans allow for versatile learning zones and the new cafeteria/commons at the Middle and High Schools are designed to be utilized throughout the day. Playful color palettes and an infusion of natural light refresh the spaces and provide enjoyable learning settings.
