Kettle Moraine School District – Multiple Buildings
Learning without boundaries + fostering collaboration through flexible + modern environments
In support of the Kettle Moraine School District’s development of a Facilities Master Plan, EUA performed a comprehensive facilities and technology study of eight buildings, including an educational adequacy assessment, space utilization study, safety and security and ADA review. The team facilitated option development for over $80M worth of identified needs and delivered architectural design services for a phase one project.
Learning spaces at each school were renovated to create flexible environments that enhance student collaboration and align with the District’s vision of Learning Without Boundaries. EUA worked with the teachers and District staff to determine how classrooms would be used for various curriculum. Sliding glass doors between classrooms and open floor plans allow for versatile learning zones and the new cafeteria / commons at the middle and high schools were designed to be utilized throughout the day. Playful color palettes and an infusion of natural light refresh the spaces and provide enjoyable learning setting.
