Howard-Suamico School District
Incorporate district-wide improvements to elevate learning spaces
Howard-Suamico School District partnered with EUA to provide planning and design services for district-wide facilities improvements following a $98M referendum. Two schools will be the primary focus of major transformation and six other schools will undergo major maintenance improvements.
Bay View Middle School, which was originally designed as a high school, will receive $50.9M worth of renovations to provide learning spaces that support the middle school house concept. The design concept will take a traditional school and incorporate modern learning environments that has space to support all learners. Forest Glen Elementary School will undergo $25.8M in renovations which will incorporate skylights to introduce natural daylight to the central core of the building and provide physical and visual connections from learning to collaboration spaces. Both Bay View Middle School and Forest Glen Elementary School will right-size core spaces such as the commons and gym by adding a physical education addition.
