Holland & Hart – Boise*
Design a work space that reflects the client’s brand + history, while also symbolizing a new generation
This historic western law firm wanted a transformational outward-looking design to symbolize the new generation of outside-oriented attorneys. The reception and conference center are situated on the top floor with a sweeping millwork “spine” wall that defines and celebrates the circulation through the entire space.
The wood wall is a subtractive volume that spans two floors with an open communicating stair and acts as a sculptural frame for the expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, the wood spine defines the personality of the space with a warm human element that architecturally captures the tone and natural beauty of the city.
