Blending the community design to create a sense of home

EUA and partners are working on this new construction two-story community that will provide a home for 60 memory care residents and 64 residents in assisted living apartments.

The interior and exterior design is based on a farmhouse vernacular – taking cues from historic and contemporary development. The design also incorporates a variety of materials and roof forms on all facades to emphasize the functions within those spaces. The building design incorporates two internal open to the sky courtyards to provide ample controllable natural light into the major activity and common spaces. The second floor of the building is energized with high volume light filled spaces to complement the activities (salon, classroom and wellness). Existing and proposed tree/landscape buffers will surround the majority of the south, east and west elevations.

The farmhouse vernacular is contextual to the neighborhood and Beaver Creek as a whole, providing a home like experience that will complement the services HRA will provide.
