Fox Valley Technical College – Wautoma Regional Center

Create a modern facility to provide educational + training services unique to the regional community

To meet the growing demand for skilled trades workers, EUA collaborated with Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) to design a new 12,400 sq ft facility in Wautoma, bringing education closer to this growing community.

Located on a tight site adjacent to the existing high school, the design of the single-story building can accommodate future growth as the community’s needs change over time. Teaching spaces include a nursing / simulation lab, computer and math labs, general education classrooms and shop spaces for welding, truck driving, industrial maintenance and agriculture.

Clad with AL13 architectural panels in FVTC’s school colors, the building is prominent and immediately visible from the road. The front entrance faces the adjacent high school, creating connectivity between the two facilities, making it easier for students to access college-level courses.

Designed to LEED Silver standards, floor-to-ceiling windows flood spaces with daylight, while low-flow fixtures, water efficient plantings and low VOC finishes and materials create a healthier environment for staff and students.
