EUA – Madison

Collaborative, adaptable spaces support a highly-engaged team-based working structure

Due to growth, Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) relocated its Madison office within Ovation, a new construction 14-story mixed-use building designed by EUA. An adaptable, open-concept office with collaborative common spaces and no private offices supports EUA’s highly-engaged team-based working structure. Adjustable-height ergonomic sit-stand desks optimize employee comfort and wellness; and expansive windows provide daylighting and views of the energetic urban street below. Featuring panoramic views of Madison and the State Capitol, the building has a rooftop meeting room and outdoor terrace where our staff is encouraged to use as a place to work, socialize and conduct meetings.

The office design highlights the clean, tall lines of concrete columns that support the high-rise above. The entry lobby includes a custom reception desk using urban wood harvested by the city forest department. The tenant improvement also includes enhanced technology to better communicate across locations while the transparency through the office helps highlight a better flow for internal communications.
