Elmbrook School District – Administration Office
Design a welcoming first stop for students new to the District + comfortable work environment for staff
When it came time to update their district office, Elmbrook School District reached out to EUA for help to design a professional building that was scaled to a residential neighborhood and projected warmth to those visiting the office.
As the first stop for new students and their families to the District, it was important that the building and public spaces showcased the District’s welcoming nature. It was also important that the private portion was functional, flexible and met the needs of their staff who would be in the building.
Private offices sit along one wall of the building while on the opposite side are large floor to ceiling windows allowing ample daylighting to filter into the office space no matter where one is seated. The large windows not only bring light in, but allow for staff to look out at the wetland views where employees can watch the wildlife come out to explore.
Collaboration spaces, a staff lounge and patio offer a variety of space to work and a large boardroom provides the district the ability to flex the space into two smaller rooms when needed for school or community events.
