E.D. Locke Public Library

Creating a library that expands up or out + the associated challenges

EUA has been commissioned to study the future of the E.D. Locke Library. Nestled on a triangular site, next to what will become a community center, E.D. Locke realized their need to grow. EUA is currently studying the ability to expand up or out on the site. Challenges posed include: how to accommodate parking, staffing considerations when on two floors, adjacency to the community center, shared resources, and much more.
