Discovery World – Pavilion
Discovering new ways to elevate and adapt spaces
Discovery World, an educational science and technology center, recently expanded and renovated their space to serve a larger number of visitors and offer additional educational programming for children. The expansion includes a 10,000 sq ft pavilion and increased exhibition space. The new multipurpose pavilion provides the museum with a space for special events, educational programming, traveling shows and lunchroom for school trips.
A second phase of the project will create a new grand entrance and exhibit gallery which will double the current exhibition space. Revamping an existing mezzanine level that was previously closed to the public, new exhibits focused on public health, medical research and healthcare careers will be added to the museum. By expanding the amount of public and exhibit space, Discovery World hopes to increase visitors and strengthen their focus on STEM education.
