DeForest Area School District – Multiple Buildings
Understand the future growth through a facilities study + master plan
Facing significant projected enrollment growth and growing capital maintenance costs due to an aging pool within the high school, the DeForest Area School District (DASD) needed a comprehensive facilities study and master plan to understand their options.
EUA conducted a facilities assessment that looked at building capacities, the educational adequacy of existing schools as well as master planning options. These options were presented to the DASD Board and community stakeholders. After a successful referendum, EUA is now planning and designing the new Harvest Intermediate School, renovations to the elementary and high schools and renovation to the middle school including a district office. Due to the improvements, the District is also working through grade reconfiguration.
