Design to accommodate for increased student growth
Colorado Academy's Campus Center had experienced intense growth. Their dining facility was originally designed to serve 300 lunchtime visitors, was now serving 1,000 students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade during a two-hour lunch window. The dining facility was redesigned to not only account for the large increase in the number of students daily, but to also offer areas for students to grab nutritional snacks to get them through the day and after school activities. A new kitchen and servery were added featuring updated equipment, and an improved layout created to enhance the school's ability to serve a wider variety of foods as well as being more efficient.
Several new spaces were added to promote studying and offer areas for students to gather while on campus. There were also additional upgrades to the building's bathrooms and finishes during this project.
