Charter Communications VCSII – The Wrapper

Provide a support space for Charter VCS II + visitors

After a merger with Time Warner, Charter Communications became the second largest telecommunications company in the U.S. Village Center Station II (VCSI II), as 12-story build-to-suit regional headquarters anchors Charter’s surrounding office spaces. In order to serve such a large number of people, additional support space was needed.

Attached to Charter Communications Village Center Station II (VCS II) via elevated walkways, The Wrapper is a separate building on the campus housing Charter’s conference center as well as retail cafe featuring a variety of restaurants. The conference center can accommodate up to 380 people with movable partitions and glass operable walls, allowing the space to flex and expand. In addition to serving as a catering kitchen for Charter, the cafe space was designed to be an open concept and available for public use, merging two main restaurants–Urban Market 6350 and Starbucks. Within Urban Market 6350, patrons can select made-to-order food from 5 different food stations and check out at cashless kiosks.
