Briggs & Stratton
Creating common ground for interaction and engagement within a diverse group of employees
Briggs is deeply rooted in Wisconsin and wanted to update its headquarters to better represent its position as a global industry leader. Working with a unique existing space, EUA elevated the lobby, re-imagined the dining space and reconfigured interior corridors to create flexible spaces.
The company’s secondary brand color palette was mixed with varying textures, daylighting and large graphics depicting community involvement throughout. Underutilized storage space was turned into a new collaborative area that connects the main offices to dining areas, the auditorium and the museum. Since the updates, Briggs employees have stayed on campus for lunch more often, with an average increase of 75 people per day in the cafe. The new design has helped Briggs plan for the future, reinforce its brand and better serve its employees.
