Beloit Memorial Hospital Family Care Center
Improve the Family Care Center to increase patients served + overall satisfaction
EUA led Beloit Memorial Hospital (BMH) in the master planning and renovation of their Family Care Center (FCC). BMH was looking to increase the number of babies born in their facilities each year, improve the patient rooms and amenities, and create more of a hospitality like feel in the labor and delivery and postpartum suites to improve the patient experience.
Challenges with low floor to ceiling height, tight mechanical spaces and existing angular layout required a phased approach to allow BMH to keep parts of the Family Care Center open and functioning during the renovations.
With upgraded, spa-like bathrooms and calming and timeless patient rooms, the Family Care Center is now warm and welcoming. The nursery was updated along with improved family and patient amenities. A donor wall is highlighted along the entrance to the FCC wing sharing the legacy story of past, present and future babies born with Beloit Health System.
