Baraboo School District – High School
Modernize learning + gathering spaces while infusing the Baraboo identity + culture
Following the passing of a $21.95M referendum, Baraboo School District worked with EUA to modernize, renovate and expand the high school campus. EUA met with administrators, students and staff to develop a vision for the project design that celebrated the unique spirit of Baraboo. The result is a highly refined design that draws inspiration from natural elements and the surrounding landscape.
To create a modernized campus that prepares students for an ever-changing world, the design focused on transformative spaces featuring flexible, transparent and adaptable environments.
The design increased collaborative teaching opportunities throughout the building. The library and commons were expanded to create spacious resource areas for students. Career and Technical Education, Culinary Arts and Art Education spaces were expanded and transformed to become more relevant for today’s students. And a new two-story fitness center enhances opportunities for whole-child wellness.
