The best of both worlds: Commercial and residential space in an urban setting
Erected in 2012 on a triangular-shaped, 1-acre site, this mixed-use, urban development is comprised of 130 market rate apartments, underground parking and commercial space. Intense neighborhood meetings over the course of nearly six months helped shape a better building. The design of this new construction project is sensitive to the single-family neighborhood to the south, growing to six stories adjacent to a four-lane divided highway and hospital campus to the north. An intimate landscaped courtyard affords natural light to all units and provides a green respite with turf, lighted planters and gas grills for residents to share.
Extra attention was applied to soundproofing the apartments and providing great natural light and an outdoor patio for each tenant. The top floor features a community room and roof deck overlooking the city.
