Sara Schesser RA, ALEP
Senior Project Architect
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work on a middle school renovation and quickly realized that I really love educational projects. Creating beautiful, functional spaces in which both teachers and their students can achieve their best is so rewarding. There is so much potential in these buildings to impact students and teachers for the better and it’s my passion to ensure people are able to thrive in their learning environment. My extensive background with schools, having worked within a school district even, allows me to quickly connect with my clients to ensure the final product is beyond expectations. These days, I also enjoy mentoring the younger staff who share this passion for educational projects; together we can all learn, grow and create great architecture. Aside from architecture, I enjoy hanging out with my now grown children, drawing, painting and fussing in my rose garden.
"Sara has a unique gift of understanding owner needs and the ability to lead teams to meet these needs. Sara is also an incredible problem-solver, a skill that allows projects to move forward without stalling. Behind every great design is a team, but the leader of the team is what makes the design come to life. Sara continues to bring designs to life and lead projects through successful delivery."Heather Bock, Senior Project Manager, Denver Public Schools
