Ryan Bakke AIA, NCARB
Senior Design Architect
For me, giving purpose the space to thrive is all about helping people use the environment to improve their lives. I am passionate about creating spaces and experiences that are positive, memorable and deeply impactful to owners, the environment and the community in which the building sits. My goal as an architect is to listen, observe, understand, sympathize, empathize, synthesize and glean insights to ‘make the invisible tangible.’ With each project, I work to unlock the deepest impact with the available project resources. This approach has allowed me to cross-pollinate and serve diverse markets, designing workplace, learning, medical, multi-family, religious, community, performing arts and industrial environments. This broad experience has helped me guide large stakeholder groups as well as coach and mentor talented team members as we envision and deliver purpose-driven spaces. Learning is in my nature, so you’ll often find me pouring over a new book, listening to a podcast, or researching the latest trends. When I’m not working, I enjoy volunteering with my church, raising an amazing family with my incredible wife and visiting family overseas.
