I believe the key to any successful project is constant and open communication; clients and team members should never be left in the dark about decisions or the project’s status. When I lead a team, I empower the designers, planners and implementation members, ensuring they have what they need to keep the project moving forward in a cohesive manner. Challenges can arise in every healthcare project and it is how you approach these challenges and seek out creative solutions that result in exceptional design. In my role as Project Management Practice Leader, I encourage knowledge sharing and develop firm-wide best practices to support successful projects, elevating our clients’ visions and goals. When I’m not managing projects, I enjoy perfecting my latest homebrew or checking off another state on my family’s quest to visit all 50.
