Senior Project Architect
In my role as a Senior Project Architect, I guide the implementation team through all phases of a project making sure the documentation provides clear and concise information to the client and contractors. Applying my vast industry experience, I mentor and encourage the younger staff in our firm throughout the process on ways to be efficient with their time and resources. Specializing in senior living, I put my heart and soul into each project to improve the residents' lives. It is rewarding to create great architecture that supports seniors as they age, in a self-respecting and dignified manner. An unexpected fact from my past, when I was younger I bicycled from London, England to Athens, Greece where I sold my bike to hitchhike across Turkey from Istanbul to the Iraqi border. It was a thrilling adventure that I will never forget. Now in my free time I keep it closer to home working on restoration projects like an 1874 stone farmhouse and bringing back a 1953 MCM designed by John Randall McDonald to its former glory.
