My overarching goal as a designer is to create functional environments that improve the well-being of people using the space. This presents new challenges every day, but taking the opportunity to look at challenges differently is one reason I thoroughly enjoy what I do. Bringing a client's dreams to life requires a lot of communication, and I'm passionate about taking the time to listen to all points of view. I believe as designers and architects we should take the time to challenge conventions; sometimes "the way it's traditionally done" isn't always the best solution. In the end, dissecting ideas gives people and projects opportunities to grow. When I'm not working, you can find me taking cross-country motorcycle trips or playing volleyball. Life's too short not to be active!
