Emily McNamara AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Senior Project Architect
The most rewarding part of being a Senior Project Architect is working with a team to find solutions to our clients' biggest challenges. In the Healthcare Studio, I collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to understand what they need to deliver the best care to patients. I've found that working together, bouncing ideas around and getting feedback from many different viewpoints produces the most successful projects. I carry the solutions we develop into the drawings and make sure they are maintained throughout construction - it's meticulous at times but it suits my detail-oriented nature. When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my daughter and husband, often outdoors gardening or on a hike. In the summer you can often find us on our patio grilling pizzas with friends or family.
"I really have appreciated the way that Emily works with us. I was (admittedly) nervous to move away from the previous architect, but the project has been one of the best. EUA is wonderful."Nicole Nelson, PT/OT Manager - Southeast Regional Off-Site Clinic, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin
