Practice Leader - Sustainability
As the sustainability practice leader, I light the way for EUA’s team to create healthier buildings for our clients and the environment. Our work begins by listening to clients’ specific sustainability goals; we collaborate with them to find the best strategies for their projects.
We’re proud of our leadership in sustainable design, which is embedded into our practice. I see a bright future where most buildings we design create more energy than they consume and remove carbon from the atmosphere.
I spent the first decade of my career working as a mechanical engineer while earning accreditations in sustainable building methods. Soon after, I started lecturing around the country about designing, constructing, and operating better buildings. I am still on that journey of teaching others, and I love helping teams strategize big-picture sustainability initiatives that move our industry forward.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me doing anything that keeps my mind and body in motion – from spin classes and Bikram yoga to family game nights and walks with our two dachshunds.
