Carolyn Glime AIA, NCARB
Senior Planner + Architect
I seek purpose in everything I do. Most of my career has served higher education and other non-profit organizations, which I am very passionate about due to their underlying missions. I'm also fortunate to serve other diverse clients in the corporate and industrial markets. My role in planning is to help clients create ideal experiences related to their unique purpose. Establishing the best alignment of the organization's people, the products or services, the place or environment in which they work and the perception or expectations they intend to establish is critical to the overall design of these ideal experiences. Therefore, I spend a significant amount of time understanding why they exist, the culture they have or want to establish and their vision for the future in order to translate those characteristics into the built environment to support their success. I am an explorer by nature, always seeking opportunities and embracing change. I am excited to grow and nurture strong client relationships, enhance our processes to better plan and design, jump into unknown tasks or roles, or share advice or coach others to work through problems. I've lived in Wisconsin for over 25 years, but I'm a native New Yorker and graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. When I'm not working, I typically enjoy time with my family–my husband, two adult children, and one elderly dog–creating art through ceramics and quilting or playing games.
