After a 47-year career, Jeffrey Anderzhon, FAIA, Senior Planner + Design Architect, will be entering a well-deserved retirement starting June 30, 2021. A leader amongst EUA’s robust team of Senior Living experts, Jeffrey has contributed to the firm’s success, as well as the betterment of the design and planning of living environments across the country. His legacy is his EUA Senior Living colleagues, whose expertise he has helped cultivate. Over the course of nearly five decades, Jeffrey has established himself as a well-regarded expert in his field by creating environments for the elderly that encourage well-being and maintain their connection to their community. He is a nationally renowned speaker and author who focuses on creating homes, not housing. He is passionate not only about design but also about sharing his expertise with clients so they are able to make informed decisions that will affect their staff and residents. Jeffrey has explored and initiated ideas that have truly made a difference to clients and their residents.
Jeffrey will miss the daily interaction with his EUA colleagues but is excited to catch up on the long awaited home improvement, wood working and photography projects on his “to do” list. He also plans to keep in touch with the numerous friends and acquaintances he’s made throughout the years in the Senior Living world but looks forward to not having to fill out a timesheet. When asked if he had any parting words of wisdom, Jeffrey said, “be true to yourself and your convictions; don’t be afraid to guard them aggressively.”
Jeffrey is planning to start retirement Wednesday, June 30th. After this date we encourage all his contacts to reach out to Scott Kindness.
