Milwaukee is welcoming a new playground!
We are proud to be a part of a growing community that continues to innovate and provide new spaces for families to enjoy.
The Historic Third Ward Association is seeking to raise $85,000 to bring the neighborhood's first playground to life. Better known as Gas Light Park, the playground will be located on the corner of E. Erie St. and N. Jefferson, just south of our Milwaukee office.
The site will also include a Born Learning Trail that includes a series of interactive activities and small multi-activity playground.
The project has received nearly 75 percent of the funds needed, and in a final push to fully fund the playground for young children an anonymous local donor created a $10,000 matching challenge grant. All donations made after February 25 will be matched dollar-for-dollar until the $10,000 challenge is met.
In an effort to elevate our community and invest in today's youth, EUA has donated $1,000 to help fund the Gas Light Park project. Donation information for Gas Light Park is available on the association's fundraising page.
