John Chapman, our Vice President at EUA had the honor of speaking on a virtual panel to talk about Universal Design. Universal Design is inclusive and accessible design of buildings, spaces and environments for all. John and the other panelists shared their considerations, and what they communicate, when working to ensure accessibility and inclusion through the design and building processes. Panelists also addressed a historical perspective of accessible spaces, as well as the simplicity and importance for designers/builders to work with people with disabilities early in the process.
