EUA's Designs for the Milwaukee Bucks, our 2021 NBA Champions!

EUA is honored to have worked directly with the Milwaukee Bucks to design several key areas that directly supported the team’s success in becoming World Champions again after 50 years, as well as create an unforgettable experience for Bucks fans and the City of Milwaukee. Here is a little background on our work with them to-date.

Milwaukee Bucks Headquarters
Prior to the new arena development, EUA supported the Milwaukee Bucks with designing their new corporate office in the historic Schlitz Park, followed by the design of their e-sports gaming office space on the same campus. Here's a video where we interviewed Peter Feigin and the design team to hear how the branded space supports their business.

Deer District Planning to Revitalize the Neighborhood
Throughout the NBA Finals, fans gathered in the Deer District, the nine-block public space, where EUA led the master planning and design concept development.

This is the first hand-sketch of the Deer District, created by Greg Uhen and presented to the Owners in early design meetings, proposing using negative spaces between buildings as public areas and connecting them to the Milwaukee River and Third Street.

An Arena Fit for NBA Champions
EUA was selected alongside Populous to design the new Fiserv Forum arena. As Architect of Record and local entity, EUA led the design of 80% of all interior spaces, including all concourse food and beverage areas, all club areas and suites including the Owner’s suite and BMO Club, the pro shop, Marquette locker room, and much more.

A New State-of-the-Art Training Facility
In addition to our contributions to the Deer District and the Fiserv Forum, EUA designed the Milwaukee Buck’s training center known as The Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center, one of the top NBA practice facilities in the country. EUA again teamed with Populous, where they developed the concept for the facility while we led the design of the exterior and interior finishes for the home away from home for the league’s most elite team.

It Takes a Village... Or at Least a Very Large Team
EUA is humbled and thrilled to been involved in the shaping of a City and the world’s best basketball team. Like all our projects, these world class spaces are the results of a team effort. Given the scope and magnitude of these projects there were over 50 talented and hardworking EUA staff that supported our work with the Milwaukee Bucks over the past five years, we’d like to recognize and thank a few key team members who were involved: Jackie Posselt, Scott Uhen, Jeremy Hackbart, Jill Schutts, Rob Beisenstein, Randy Schmitz, Troy Jacoby, Shane Grandbois, Michelle Olsen, Nolman Davis, Mike Oates, Chris Michaud, Charlie Robertson, Eric Brown, Geoffrey Elander, Mike Schwindenhammer, Jen Singson, Max Miceli, Lauren Kritter, Rich Tennessen, Greg Uhen and Chris Gallagher, as well as all our numerous partners in construction and engineering. On behalf of EUA, thank you to our employees, for their dedication, talent, teamwork and deep love for the Milwaukee Bucks and the City of Milwaukee. They have served our clients and the millions of Bucks fans around the world well!

And finally, congratulations to the 2021 NBA Champions, our very own Milwaukee Bucks!
