EUA Announces Two Eppstein Uhen Foundation Grant Recipients

At the end of 2020 EUA selected two three-year renewable grant recipients: Artists Working in Education and Urban Peak.

Artists Working in Education is a non-profit organization located in Milwaukee that sponsors professional artists to cultivate community by placing works of art in and around local schools, libraries, playgrounds, community centers and events in order to provide the youth with equal access to the arts. AWE provides valuable opportunities for children to explore tools, techniques and creativity through their Truck Studio programs designed for youth ages four to fourteen in underserved neighborhoods 

Urban Peak is the only non-profit organization that offers a full convergence of services for teenagers and young adults ages 15 to 24 experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in the city of Denver. Urban Peak provides essential services such as shelter, a daytime drop-in center, street outreach, education and employment programming and supportive housing at little to no cost for the youth.
