EUA is excited to have eight new interns join the team this summer!
Alyssa Barrera is double majoring in Public Relations and Advertising at Marquette University. She is excited to learn about the architecture industry and the architect profession as a whole. During her internship, she hopes to become a better writer and learn about the differences in how each studio markets themselves to their targeted audience. In her free time, Alyssa taught herself how to play the ukulele!
Hana Castillo Pacheco is a Mass Communications major with a minor in Public Relations at Concordia University Wisconsin. She is looking forward to successfully executing the 2021 Beyond Design Bike Tour. Though she has coordinated events for iHeart Radio in the past, she is excited to organize an event for a nonprofit. Hana is currently studying Japanese to become trilingual!
Jack Davis recently graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee: SARUP and will be going to school this coming fall at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in Barcelona! He is looking forward to learning and engaging with the EUA community this summer. In his free time, Jack loves to draw.
Taylor Duerr is working on her Masters in Architecture at South Dakota State University. She is looking forward to working with a team of architects on large design projects and to get a better understanding of the architecture profession. She hopes to learn everything Revit related. In college, Taylor was a NCAA Division 1 Equestrian Athlete.
Grace Gallagher joins EUA from the University of Florida! She is majoring in Architecture with a minor in Urban + Regional Planning. Grace is eager to learn about the design process from start to finish - how a project moves through each stage of design, the different responsibilities of each member of the team and how they work together to exceed the client's expectations. She feels like she learned how to design what she wanted to in school, but is excited to learn about designing for a client. In January of 2022, Grace is moving to Vicenza, Italy!
Ramiro Lopez is pursing his Bachelor's in Architecture at UW-Milwaukee. He's looking forward to his next learning opportunity, more specifically, the practice side of architecture and seeing a design come to life. Ramiro has practiced Martial Arts for 9 years and is a second degree blackbelt in Taekwondo!
Anna Mortenson goes to University of Wisconsin-Madison and is majoring in Interior Architecture. Throughout her internship, she hopes to learn how to solve problems on a base level to set her up for success in her future career. She is eager to learn more about the small details that go into the design process alongside interior designers at EUA. Anna has a twin sister at UW-Madison that is in the same program as her!
Mariah Stoner is an Interior Design major at Ball State University. During her time at EUA, she wants to gain experience to provide better services for her future clients. She hopes to learn more about the interior design field as a whole and aspires to be a talented designer after she graduates. Mariah is eldest of six and has a dog named Teddy!
