Williams Bay School District is celebrating the grand opening of Williams Bay Elementary School with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 10, 2016.
Date: September 10, 2016
Place: Williams Bay Elementary School
139 Congress St, Williams Bay, WI 53191
EUA worked with the District for almost two years in stakeholder engagement and facilitation strategies to encourage community participation and dialogue. In the District’s second referendum, the community supported the integration of a new elementary school into the existing middle school site and building.
The new school preserves the district’s heritage and tradition for excellence while creating modern learning spaces, flexibility for future growth and a safe learning environment for students. Within the school, collaboration zones are integrated between classroom wings allowing students the flexibility to work alone or together in groups. The design scheme is centered around the area’s local astronomical observatory established in 1897, emulating patterns from the night sky throughout the school finishes.
