MILWAUKEE – Over the course of the summer, Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) has seen tremendous growth with the acquisition of Denver based Burkettdesign. Additionally, EUA has welcomed five employees between the Madison and Milwaukee locations to help create design solutions that improve user experience.
The five employees will contribute valuable opinions, ideas and talent to further EUA’s initiatives of elevating the potential of clients, partners, communities and EUA’s own employees. Employee backgrounds include:
Mike Schwindenhammer – Senior Design Architect
Mike has his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona, and has had 20+ years of experience in several firms in Arizona and Chicago. He crossed paths with a few current EUA employees at RTKL in Chicago, and comes to EUA most recently from DLR Group. Mike will begin work in the Learning Environments Studio, and is looking forward to involvement with other markets over time as well.
Carmen Martinez – Project Specialist
Carmen will join EUA’s Learning Environments Studio as a project specialist. She has over 16 years of experience accompanying her Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Carmen is no stranger to EUA as a former Architectural Technician from 2001 to 2005. She comes to EUA from Zimmerman Architectural Studios.
Andrew Schoenherr – Project Architect
Andrew joins the Madison Studio as a Project Architect. Andrew has his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He has been with Kahler Slater (Milwaukee) and HGA (Minneapolis) as an Architectural Intern, and comes to us most recently from Flad Architects in Madison where he has been the last six years.
Samantha Naunheim – Project Administrator
Samantha has her degree in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She comes to EUA most recently from her position as a staff accountant with Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
Andre Rosteing – Project Architects
Andre received his Bachelor of Science, and Master of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During graduate school, Andre worked as an intern at Northwestern Mutual where he had some exposure to EUA. While there, he was responsible for modeling EUA's Architectural Desktop drawings of the Northwestern Mutual offices in Franklin. Andre joins us from Holabird and Root Architects in Chicago, and works as a project architect in the Learning Environments Studio.
