MILWAUKEE, WI – Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) has hired Eric Slifer from Facility Elements, LLC to complement the over 60 years combined experience EUA's science and technology group holds in public and private laboratory design. Eric has focused his career on laboratory pre-design through construction administration, giving a vast architectural and planning background to his work. Eric is joining EUA as a Science and Technology Specialist.

Believing that lab design has the chance to impact its inhabitants more than any other workspace, Eric strives to plan spaces that can morph as quickly as the technology being developed within. “Science is constantly evolving, and planning facilities to meet that demand well into the future is why I’m excited to go to work everyday. It is fascinating learning how different scientists work and then crafting their labs into something that makes those processes more efficient,” Eric commented.
