DENVER, CO, January 1, 2019 — Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) is excited to announce that as of January 1, 2019, the firm’s Denver office, BurkettEUA, will be known as EUA.
“Transitioning to the EUA name has been the plan from the beginning,” Rick Burkett said. “The union between our firms couldn’t have been more successful and we look forward to continuing to meet our clients’ needs as EUA.”
In 2017, EUA announced the acquisition of Denver-based architecture and interior design firm, Burkettdesign, changing its name to BurkettEUA and adding to EUA’s existing offices in Milwaukee, Madison and Des Moines. The entire Denver principal group became shareholders in EUA, bringing expanded ownership and leadership opportunities.
“Over the past year and a half, our progress has been great as we have aligned our cultures, values and services as one firm,” said Greg Uhen, CEO of EUA. “Moving forward as EUA is the final step in our transition, and we are excited to continue integrating our resources and expertise in Colorado and throughout the region."
Inspired by the area’s culture, economic strength and continued growth projections, EUA’s decision to expand into the Colorado market has enhanced the firm’s level of expertise and resources, while also increasing services to existing clients and broadening reach to new industries within the region.
“Since 1990, we have established ourselves as one of Denver’s most respected firms by focusing on client service and delivering high-quality, personalized designs,” said Denver Studio Director, Joy Spatz. “Through this transition, our values and service model will remain and, with our expanded services, we look forward to expanding our reach and building positive outcomes throughout the region.”
Since combining the two firms, EUA has completed many notable projects in Colorado for a range of organizations, including Charter Communications, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Air Methods, Bartlit Beck, Epsilon, AAA Colorado, Denver Public Schools and CSG International.
