Eppstein Uhen Architects Hires Healthcare Senior Designer John Ford

Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) welcomes John Ford [AIA, NCARB, EDAC, LEED AP] as Senior Design Architect joining the Healthcare Studio. John will join the Madison office, contributing extensive healthcare leadership and planning experience.

MADISON, WI – Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) welcomes John Ford [AIA, NCARB, EDAC, LEED AP] as Senior Design Architect joining the Healthcare Studio. John will join the Madison office, contributing extensive healthcare leadership and planning experience.

Ford comes to EUA after 18 years at Erdman where he was the Director of Design, managing designers and the quality of the design work. His project experience covers inpatient and outpatient work, from hospitals to surgery centers, with a focus on exterior design and interior space planning.

“Our clients and internal team members will benefit from working with John, his depth of healthcare expertise will help shape the way we are delivering inspiring healthcare design,” said Kristin Dufek, Vice President of EUA.

In his role as Senior Design Architect at EUA, John will continue to focus on promoting healing through the built environment. His experience and collaborative nature will provide leadership amongst the healthcare studio in Madison while supporting design efforts across the firm. 

“I’ve spent the last 18 years of my life supporting clients across the U.S, I believe that healthcare architecture has a great sense of purpose by promoting wellness, supporting mental and physical health, and helping people through the healing process.  Joining EUA it gives me the ability to make a more direct impact on the community and region that I live in.”
