Chris Michaud Earns ALEP Status

Milwaukee, WI, 05/03/2023 Chris Michaud, a senior design architect in our learning studio, is the second EUA team member to earn the distinguished honor of holding ALEP status. ALEP stands for Accredited Learning Environment Planner and is directed towards architects and other educational facility planning practitioners interested in advancing their profession and the industry.  

“Chris is an extremely thoughtful and talented educational designer and planner,” says Learning Studio Director Teresa Wadzinski. “He is exceptional at engaging with clients to really listen and understand their perspectives while still leading them with his design expertise. His commitment to design excellence for educational spaces has changed the landscape of schools across Wisconsin. A client may have put it best: ‘He is outstanding in every way.’”

Chris has worked at EUA for over ten years and has designed over 100 projects throughout his career, including Verona Area School District – High School, DeForest Area School District – Harvest Intermediate, and Middleton Cross Plains Area School District – High School.

He joins colleague Sara Schesser, senior project architect in EUA’s Denver office, as an ALEP-credentialed team member. Sara received her designation in 2021.
