The 2018 Bubbler Awards winners are here!
NEWaukee’s annual Bubbler Awards highlight the Wisconsin companies that work to accommodate the specific interests and needs of Millennials in the workplace. To determine the winners, NEWaukee evaluates salary and benefits, opportunities for advancement and employee and community engagement, resulting in a brief list of local companies they deem the best places for young professionals to work. Many of this year’s winners have earned spots on previous years’ lists, but 2018 saw some new names added to the mix, as well.
And the Winners Are…
Eppstein Uhen Architects is an architecture firm with a headquarters in Milwaukee and other locations in Madison, Denver and Des Moines. This is the first year the firm has received the Bubbler Award.
Forward Bank has a mission to “move communities forward.” The bank, which originated in Marshfield in 1919, has spent the last 10 years moving into forgotten rural communities.
GMR Marketing has been connecting brands with their consumers since 1979. The group is headquartered in New Berlin and has 26 offices in 14 countries around the world.
Greenheck is a leading manufacturer of air-movement and control equipment such as fans, dampers, louvers and energy recovery and make-up air units. Their equipment can be found in simple ventilation systems and even larger manufacturing processes.
Johnsonville has been a producer of flavorful sausages since 1945. The company is headquartered in Sheboygan Falls. Johnsonville products are available in all 50 states and 40 additional countries.
For the last 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped their clients deal with financial stress. The company is based in Milwaukee and emphasizes mutuality between staff and clients.
Penrod is a global cloud consulting agency that helps businesses engage with their customers and employees. Their office is located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward.
Sargento Foods Inc. produces a range of cheeses. The company spans 60 years and prides itself on being “Real Cheese People.”
Skyward launched in 1981 with a goal to change the conversation surrounding administrative software. The company primarily works with school management software.
Since its launch in 1996, Wisnet has grown a lot, but the company still stresses “small company” values. Wisnet specializes in marketing, branding and building websites and applications for their clients.
