Systems Administrator

Milwaukee, WI

EUA is seeking a Systems Administrator for our firm. They will work under direction of the IT Director and will be a key team leader for infrastructure related systems. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience, with specific experience in Information Technology. This position requires a self-motivated, proactive individual to work full-time in our information technologies department.  The person selected will be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented support environment.

The Fundamentals:

Manage and Support:

  • Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Hypervisors, VMware, Backup and Replication
  • Cisco LAN, WAN and wireless infrastructure
  • Cisco ASA, AnyConnect, AWS VPC
  • O365, Azure AD, AWS and other cloud based services

Responsibilities:

  • Determining hardware, software and system functionality issues through systems analysis techniques
  • Responding and preparing for incidents affecting the availability, stability and performance of IT systems
  • Designing and maintaining server systems
  • Conference Room Audio Video System support
  • General user support 10-20% of workload
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies
  • Positive attitude, patience and willingness to work with others
  • Willingness to identify opportunities and implement improvements
  • Possess excellent communication skills, including phone support, presentation skills and writing skills
  • Have proven customer support aptitude
  • Maintain exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
  • Other duties as assigned

The Fine Print:

  • An Associate's degree or beyond in Information Technology or closely related field
  • 8 or more years of experience in Information Technology
  • Willingness to work off-hours or weekends as needed
