Contract + Licensing Specialist

Milwaukee, WI

EUA is looking to add an integral team member that supports our Risk Management Director.

This person has a full understanding of architectural & engineering licenses for firm compliance and has the ability to coordinate, organize, and maintain multiple state firm license requirements. They also have a deep understanding of contracting concepts and terminology across a variety of contract types and structures, particularly AIA contracts.   

The Fundamentals 

Licensing:

  • Organize firm license requirements
  • Apply for and maintain all firm-held Certificates of Authority and professional licenses
  • Stay current on all Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design laws and amendments as it pertains to licensing
  • Monitor changes in shareholders and ensure license compliance
  • Track and monitor all due dates for license renewals and annual reports
  • Stay current on continuing education requirements for Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers

Contracts:

  • Support the development and negotiation of contracts, proposals, and letter agreements
  • Review and respond to requests for edits to standard and complex contract terms and conditions
  • Stay current with contracting and industry trends and changes
  • Stay current with changes and updates to AIA contracts, maintain internal contract library
  • Assist in firm audits as necessary

  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office

  • Organized and precise
