AUBURNDALE, WI – On June 2, officials broke ground on several referendum projects to renovate and expand Auburndale School District facilities.

District administration, staff, students, as well as representatives from Eppstein Uhen Architects and Miron Construction Co. Inc. were on hand to help mark the occasion.

“On November 3rd 2020, voters in the School District of Auburndale supported a comprehensive referendum plan that allowed the District to borrow $6,900,000 to fund district-wide infrastructure improvements and renovate and expand the agricultural, technology, and family & consumer science education (FACE) spaces. As well as an operational referendum question that allows the District to exceed the revenue limit by $200,000 annually to invest in maintaining quality staff and improving technology,” an Auburndale District release stated.

“The District spent the last six months working with their partners, Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) and Miron Construction to plan for the new and renovated spaces approved by taxpayers.

“We are thankful for our community’s investment in our schools. As I reflect on this past year, I am stunned by the amazing things we’ve been able to accomplish despite the obstacles set forth. We are excited to break ground on this project as the students head into summer” said Jamie Delikowski, District Administrator. “When they return for the new school year, they will be able to see some of the improvements. This gives everyone something to look forward to.”
