Sustainability is a core value.
At EUA, we encourage and educate clients and staff to consider design and construction strategies that use natural resources in prudent and environmentally wise ways. Sustainable design is an integrated approach that considers the entire life of a building from construction to demolition, supporting environmental stewardship and conservation, as well as creating a healthy indoor environment for building occupants. We suggest cost-effective, practical solutions to meet your sustainable goals. We recommend environmentally friendly materials and designs to create high-performance buildings.
EUA demonstrates a commitment to sustainability with in-house sustainability specialists, WELL Building certified professionals and a committee to guide our sustainable efforts in all markets. Over 20 percent of our design staff have earned the LEED® Accredited Professional credential, and we have over 30 certified and registered projects, including a LEED® v4 beta project that achieved Platinum status. See our featured LEED® certified projects and projects currently pursuing WELL Building certification.
Even when LEED® certification or WELL Building Standard is not the goal, we provide environmentally friendly design options that balance initial investment with life cycle costs while focusing on the health and well-being of the end users.
